Angry New Yorkers Tackle Car Thief Who Hit 10 Pedestrians While Running From Cops
One man who allegedly hit 10 pedestrians while attempting to evade police in a stolen vehicle learned a very important lesson on fucking around and finding out, getting tackled to the ground by a band of angry New Yorkers as he attempted to flee the scene.
On Tuesday afternoon, the purported perp exited his vehicle after bulldozing several passersby during a chase with authorities in Midtown Manhattan. Though he sprinted around the corner, likely thinking he could outrun the cops, a band of witnesses were determined to make sure the alleged criminal paid for his crimes.
“Where are you going?” cried one man, seven others pursuing the driver as he unsuccessfully attempted to weave through the crowd.
Though he initially tried to squirm away, the group managed to subdue him, tackling him down to the ground.
“You’re not going nowhere bro,” added another observer. This band of good samaritans were ultimately able to keep the driver at bay until authorities caught up and took the 20-year-old man into custody, per CBS News.
Moral of the story? Don’t fuck with New York City pedestrians. We’re walkin’ here!
